For more than a decade Mike appeared as half of the celebrated Allcock and Brown and is now going solo as The Magnificent Mike Ruff. This year saw two days at the wonderful Milton Keynes Museum in June. Still to come will be a presentation to Welwyn Garden City U3A group.
Music Hall was one of the most popular forms of entertainment in Victorian and Edwardian times eventually becoming Variety Shows. So many of those songs are still incredibly well known and there is so much more to enjoy – the humour, the drama and the story telling not to mention dancing, costume and style.
Songs and the Stories Behind Them from Mike can be either a talk or a concert or something in between.
